i flew out to salt lake city last week for thanksgiving with my family, & my sweet dad bought me some new art supplies. here's my first sketch (noah) with nupastels, these fancy new pastels a bit more dense & stronger than soft pastels--
i can't tell yet how i think they compare to charcoal, but trying new things is always fun.
